We hope for everyone to be able to experience living in synergy with nature at any budget. We have options ranging from the Hopi House dormitory to Villa Cashew and Villa Bamboo, which each have their own private food forest gardens and bio-pools.

Hopi House

Based on an earth berming concept, our Hopi House Dormitory is set in the mountains and topped with a garden roof that keeps the rooms cool. Three separate rooms, with two bunks each, provide a cozy sleep for four people per room and twelve for the whole dwelling.

The Nest

The Nest, built in a traditional “rice barn” style with a palm and thatch roof, is set up on stilts with beautiful mountain and treetop views. It has an outdoor bathroom and shower surrounded by purple hanging vines, as well as a kitchen and local “baruga” style living platform nestled amidst the trees. The Nest has its own vegetable garden and holds the nursery for all our seedlings.

Villa Cashew

Villa Cashew is currently under construction. It lies amidst the shade of cashew nut trees, with mountain and palm tree views. It will soon have a natural bio plunge pool which is cleaned by way of plant life and a private food forest garden, which includes papayas, bananas, mangosteens, oranges, limes, chillis, mint, and lemongrass. Guests will be free to pick whatever they like from their garden.

 

Villa Cashew is built mostly from mud, with bamboo from the village and reclaimed old boats from nearby beaches. It is cooled passively through its mud structure and by convection, cross ventilation, correct sun and wind orientation, and the shading of its foliage.

Villa Bamboo

Villa Bamboo is currently under construction. It lies among the shade of bamboo trees with mountain and palm tree views. The Who house

The Who House is currently under construction. It is set on stilts and nestled amidst the treetops with sunset and mountain views. It is built from reclaimed old boat wood and has an outdoor bathroom, with a roof of hanging loofah plants (which provide sponges for bathing) and a kitchenette, treetop balcony, and downstairs “baruga” living space.
